About this place

Arrive at Villa Restaurant and Pizzeria in Eastpointe and the first impression is practical warmth - a welcoming room, an easygoing pace, and a sense that regulars already claimed their favorite seats.

Order with curiosity - start around pizza, then leave room for plates built for sharing. Regulars often point newcomers toward the kitchen's daily strengths.

Practical note for first-timers: ask what is freshest that day and let the staff steer you. Weeknights usually run quieter than weekends. The listing address is 21311 Gratiot Ave, Eastpointe, MI 48021.

Platefolk keeps Villa Restaurant and Pizzeria on the map because it still feels like a Eastpointe table with a point of view - starting with pizza and ending with a reason to come back.

Before you visit, skim recent neighbor notes on the listing and confirm hours on the door. Platefolk keeps this page as a field guide, not a frozen brochure - the best proof is still sitting down for a meal.

What we value here is consistency: a kitchen that repeats its strengths, a room that does not treat guests like tickets, and a Villa Restaurant and Pizzeria visit that still feels worth the trip across town. Bring curiosity, order something the staff recommends, and leave a short note afterward so the next diner arrives wiser.

Everything was excellent. I had Tony’s Trio, my wife had cannelloni and mostaccioli. Superb. The service was first rate. Thank you.

Great casual atmosphere. Friendly staff. I ordered the trio - Lasagna was the bomb. Hubby ordered shrimp Alfredo. This dish could feed THREE PEOPLE! Food was excellent quality, great warm bread. We ordered the baked meatballs for appetizer. Lots of sauce and cheese. The sauce was to die for but the meatballs, like the minestrone soup was pretty bland.Ordered house Cabernet and it was good. Only $6/glass was reasonable.

The service was on point for every aspect of the meal. The food was plentiful I'm portions and flavor. The giant 32 oz beers were a nice touch. I'd definitely go back to try it all over again.

We got there 30 minutes before closing and they were so gracious to us and the food was amazing! Will definitely be back!! Such a gem so close to Grosse Pointe if you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine!

Closest to 'Windsor style' I've had.Firm undercarriage, crust dough is airy and crunchy.Cheese had a decent stretch, I would guess a low fat blend because it wasn't greasy and I ordered the heart stopper. It was bacon, ham and I was pleasantly surprised with canned mushrooms. Often when fresh ones are used the pie can be soggy. The sauce was sweet and between the crust and toppings, where it belongs.Using cornmeal would crunch up the undercarriage but I can honestly say this was my favourite pie, I have had in Detroit. It's not cheap, but more than willing to pay for quality.

This has become one of my favorite places to go eat at. I only had it for the first time about 8 months ago and I think I’ve eaten here once a month at least. Everything we have gotten has been amazing. And the Fettuccine Alfredo is incredible!

I got the vegetarian pizza.I was very disappointed. It didn't hit the mark for me or my son. Every friday we get vegetarian pizza from different restaurants. This one was highly recommended. Maybe their regular pizza is better, but it didn't hit the mark with us.

The service was great but the food not so much. We were looking for a new Italian restaurant and the reviews were great so we decided to try it out. We were seated fast witch was great. We got our drinks fast, but then to the food. My husband ordered pizza and it was very soggy and chewy. He was not impressed. I ordered the chicken parm with Alfredo. My salad was pretty much the whites of a head of lettuce with an odd taste. They put so much ranch on it wgen i asked for it on the side, then the chicken parm had chewy pieces or hard pieces like bone or cartilage or idk what it was so I kept spitting pieces out. There was hardly and sauce on it and the cheese was cold. As for the Alfredo, they should of put it in a bowl and gave me a spoon its was so watery with no taste. I really wanted to like this place. Maybe I will give it another try because the food options are great but if its anything like my first experience we wo nt be back
